Fire talks to TVs installation

Since I unfortunately lost my camera that night, I lost all my material about this installation. Very sad. The only pictures I managed to find online after the event was these… but well… a girl is posing on front of it :/ Sorry about that.

This project is an art installation.
We built a « wall » of old Tvs, we decorated it with a panther, medieval steel helmet & glove, old fashioned lamps and other beautiful objects.
I then developed a Jitter patch. When it’s on it diffuses at a very fast rate pictures randomly picked from a folder (full of the pictures you desire… we choosed dark mystical pics blended with a few sexual shots, because sexy is cool).
When it’s off it stops on the last shown picture and wait. Wait for what?
Well an impulse, a go. And this impulse making the installation alive is simply a candle : if it’s on, the installation is alive, if it’s off then it’s dead. How’s that so? Well that’s our secret. One hint: we used magic (and a bit of technology).
The candle is then disposed on a decorated voodoo table where people can come and interact with it; the whole forms a very impressive mystical autel that will rock the decoration of any party…
